Route map
Route overview
The route is characterized by flat, clear sections on and around the Danube island that are completely closed to traffic.
Swimming (approx. 750 meters): The race starts in the gently flowing New Danube. Since it is a still or only minimally flowing body of water, the conditions are ideal and safe even for less experienced swimmers.
Cycling, 2nd lap (19.6 kilometers): After the transition, the route continues on a completely flat out-and-back course on Danube Island. Since the course is paved and entirely traffic-free, the participants can concentrate on their pace without any cars or difficult inclines.
Running (4.8km): The final running section is also flat, running through the forest on Danube Island. Cheered on by numerous spectators in the start and finish area, the route leads directly to the emotional finish.
