BIKE
Lightning-fast high-speed course: The bike course runs completely flat on the closed Danube Island and the Danube Island access road. Without any significant climbs or sharp turns, you can fully utilize your aero setup and achieve extremely high average speeds.

OLYMP. DISTANCE
A start at the Olympic distance in Vienna, the traditional Vienna Triathlon , offers unique conditions for both experienced athletes and ambitious beginners.

King & Queen
In this special challenge, you'll compete in not one, but two full triathlon events in one weekend: first the explosive Cupra Mayer Sprint Distance and immediately afterwards the demanding XLAB Olympic Distance. The times of both races are added together – and whoever comes out on top at the end will be crowned the sporting champion of Vienna.

KING & QUEEN RATING
So if you want to "rock" the Danube Island twice over and be crowned royal highness of Vienna, this combined rating is just what you're looking for.
The double challenge: The competition combines two completely different race dynamics. You have to start both the Cupra Mayer Sprint (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run) and the XLAB Olympic Distance (1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run).
HE & SHE RATING
The mixed-gender (He&She) category makes the Vienna Triathlon a unifying community experience that combines sporting ambition with plenty of team spirit and fun on Danube Island.
The mixed doubles: The competition traditionally consists of one female and one male athlete. The finishing times of both individual races are added together at the finish line. Only those who harmonize as a duo and spur each other on to peak performance have a chance at the top spots.
What else you should know
Annual license
Anyone who has purchased an annual license must bring it with them to the bib number distribution and present it.
Rules
The Austrian Triathlon Federation's sports regulations apply in the version valid on the date of the event. These can be downloaded here .
Cancellation or postponement
A refund of the entry fee or a postponement is only possible if one of our insurance policies was taken out when registering with Pentek.
Awards ceremony
Trophies will only be awarded to athletes present. They cannot be sent out. Please stay until the final results are announced!
Eligible to start
Athletes who are not affiliated with a club are also eligible to participate.
Neopren
The decision regarding whether wetsuits are mandatory or prohibited is always made one hour before the competition. However, in most cases, it can be assumed that a wetsuit requirement is very unlikely.
